6:25 pm - About Me, fic-wise
Mostly I live over here, but I'll migrate stuff eventually.

I've been a Harry/Draco shipper since I started reading the Harry Potter books the week before G0F was released. I started watching Buffy five episodes before the end of the series because my new roommate was a fan, and she introduced me to fanfiction a few months later.

It took a couple of years before I started writing, something I'd done a fair bit of in high school but put aside in University, and I'm a feed-back whore, so I started posting right away. I'm also a procrastinator and the slowest writer ever, which means a lot of WIPs.

At some point in my HPfic reading, I came across an HP/QaF crossover. I'd never seen the show (I haven't had channel-tv in years, let alone cable), so I read it as OCs, but I liked it a great deal. After the LJ lock downs last year, I had trouble finding the fics I hadn't saved 'specially, and, having some free time in January, I spent a couple of hours trying to track the crossover down. I never found it, but I did find QaF being aired on showcase.ca. I marathoned through the twelve or so episodes that were up, then went out and bought the first two seasons. Then I enabled my sister and she not only bought me season three 'for my birthday' a month early, she also bought all five seasons for herself. We finished the series about Valentine's Day.

So those are my fandoms and how :)

2:41 pm - Written for QaF_drabbles
My first post to the com, ironically.

Challenge #82: first

Title:
Be Careful What You Offer

It took a while, but Brian could eventually admit, to himself anyway, that it was his own fault.  He had offered the boy a choice that first night, and the twat had been too naive to understand or, more likely, too stubborn to accept that it had been rhetorical.

So are you coming or going?
    Or coming and then going?
    Or coming and then staying?

How could he know that the kid would be the first trick ever to choose option C?

It took even longer for Brian to admit how grateful, how fucking grateful, he was that Justin had.
